As of right now the players and the owners have not spoken in roughly 40 days. This is troublesome because as a fan this is kind of a slap in the face. We bleed for certain teams, players and groups and invest not only time and money but energy. You love them but do they love you back? Thats always been the golden question and they say they care about the fans but do they really? Look, we all know it's a business and to them it's about money..... your money. The thing you need to pay close attention to is how your team spends in free agency and how they value the drafting of players but more importantly their player development. Money gets you big names, but teams can be built in the later rounds with the right philosophy.
